Re-releasing Felicity items

I'm probably just adding to annoying speculation here, but has anyone heard or have any idea when they might be bringing back Felicity items? I understand that Elizabeth will most likely debut in July/August like Nellie did, but what about Felicity? Do you think they will start the build up for the movie by releasing new (and old) items for Lissie in the spring/early summer, or do you think they will wait until the same time Elizabeth comes out and add even more in the fall? Personally I think the better strategy would be adding stuff earlier, this way you dont have such an insane rush of orders if they are all released at the same time, and it adds anticipation for the movie and Elizabeth. Just my two cents anywho. What is eveyone elses thoughts? [img]graemlins/smarty.gif[/img]

I would hope that they would start bring Felicity back this spring, like in May maybe. I think they should start re-introducing Lissie before Elizabeth comes out because if you were to just get only the catalouges you wouldn't even know who poor Felicity is. My niece has an AG today and is really into AG but she didn't know who Felicity was!
I'm so happy that they are making Elizabeth. Now they will have Lissie and Lizzie.

Exactly! I think it is so sad that so many girls dont even know about Felicity anymore. Especially since she is the doll that is centered around the Revolution, which is pretty important, since after all, these are the American Girls collection! LOL [img]graemlins/smarty.gif[/img]

I agree they need to bring Felicity back well before the movie comes out. Heck, if they do it soon enough, they can pretend they never meant to get rid of her.

It would be VERY nice if they'd do that. I'd put the catalog in a huge comic book bag to keep it safe, lol.

I would like to see her school supplies come back, as well as everything else that could relate to something she did with Elizabeth. And all of her summer accessories would be nice to have back too. And of course her guitar!

It occurred to me that if AG wants to bring out a big Felicity item for the movie, like Sam's sled, the obvious way to go would be to restore the clothes press. (Fingers crossed).

I would love to see the return of the clothes press! I recently saw one on ebay that was going for $400 and it still had a few days on it!! I would hate to be the person to get that and have them re-release it! LOL. The accessories I think they will bring back, either with the debut with Elizabeth or earlier, will be:
School supplies
Shrewsberry cakes set
Guitar ?
SOMETHING from her summer story!
The little green trunk
Nightstand
Clothes Press
My reasoning behind all these is they either involve Elizabeth in some way, (making the cakes, their lessons together) and comparing Lissie's collection to the others. Every other girl has a nightstand, a place to store clothes and at least one accessory from the summer story. Most of them still have their little travel piece from the winter story too. Kirsten's carpet bag, Samantha's valise. The only one retired (I think) is Addy's hat box. Anywho thats just my theory. Im not sure about the guitar and the summer stuff tho. She needs something from that story, but not much from that collection involves Elizabeth. [img]graemlins/smarty.gif[/img]

If it were iup tpo me I'd release things like this maybe:
Feb-April: Guitar, Nightstand and Nighttime Necesities, Summer acesorie(s)* (because you always have to be one season ahead of everything, don't you?), trunk
May: Clothes press
July/august: School suplies (in time for school)
After Lizzie: Shrewsbury cakes**, Needlkework kit, New work dress*** (to go with shrewsbury cake kit
In time for X-mas: Ark

I don't think the winter enchantments will come back, but maybe it could be split up and parts would come with difernt sets, i.e, new work dress could come with top and fire screen, lantern could find it's way in Muff mitts and patterns, ect.

* Maybe one could be split up into different sets like I mentioned above.
**a redisgned Shrewsbury kit, with fake doll cookies and fake suger, haveing a cone of real sugar always creeped me out.
***I never thought of the striped dress in the books as a work dress, but rather an everyday dress for Winter, so maybe it could be marketed as a winter dress? Everything is spring and summer, no?
